While the blog archive and labels have all the information about the published post, these do not appear on a single page completely, so searching for more posts is not always easy. Luckily, this gadget will help you to add a table of contents or sitemap on Blogger showing the index of all posts separated by categories that have been published.

Home About Archives Contact Categories Movies Reviews Articles Search About Ticket Stub is a WordPress Theme based on the idea of a movie reviews site, but the overall design and layout makes the theme a perfect choice for any type of blog.

Powered by WordPress Theme by SpoonGraphics Back to top The HTML document is finished off with a simple footer div containing credit links and a back to top link.
The CSS file begins with a quick reset, then outlines the global font and background styling on the body element.
All links in the design will use the same colour, so these can be listed with no specificity to capture every anchor in the document.
The container div that wraps the page is given a 960px width and is centred up with auto margins.
The logo and subscribe buttons are moved into place with various margins, then the classes on each item can be targeted to add the relevant icon to each respective link.
An initial thought was to simply add this background colour to the side div, but in the design the column extends all the way to the bottom of the page.
The easiest way to replicate this is CSS is using the popular faux columns approach, where a sample image is used as a background image to blog code in asp the impression of the two background colours.
These days we can easily use CSS3 box-shadow to recreate a Photoshop shadow effect without the use of image files.
One problem with our faux columns is they fill the whole area of the div, whereas in the design we have a 15px border.
We can replicate this border using the border property on both the main and side divs.
Padding helps push the content into place away from the edges to match the Photoshop design.
The post thumbnail image is floated into place alongside the content and is given a double border effect by combining 1px padding with a 1px border.
The unique classes on the three list items then allow us to style and move each one exactly into position.
They use the same double border effect, so the mix of background and border between an element and its child element are this time added to the and elements.
Each button is then floated to the left or right, so the overflow: hidden; declaration is used on the parent element again to clear the floats.
The buttons listing the pages and categories also employ the same double border effect, so the same code can be implemented on the and elements.
The only modification is the text is aligned to the right in this case.
The search bar is replicated with a grey border, then padding and font styling helps turn the field into a fully working input.
The search button on the other hand is styled using Read article image replacement, adding the icon image in place of the original text.
The two credit icons are created using CSS image replacement while the back to top link to floated to the right.
Browser Testing A quick test in the popular browsers shows no problems in Firefox, Safari and Chrome, but as usual Internet Explorer gets its panties in a twist.
We first need to create a special CSS stylesheet solely for IE6.
A link to a separate CSS file is added inside conditional comments which only target Internet Explorer version 6.
In the case of this design the only problems we run into is the infamous double margin bug and some strange height issue.
Both are easily fixed with the addition of html code for blog archive height: 100%; declaration.

Also I have noticed that whenever you use any CSS3 you always place the standard version before all the prefixed stuff — it is best practice to place the standard last that way the prefixed versions do not override the standard.

Right now, the blog posts in those pages just occupy the center of the page, and the right sidebar is empty.
This sounds super helpful!
Thanks so much for sharing : and keep up the good work.

Anonymous How do I use these codes in xhtml?
I am getting an error message, Error parsing XML, line 2139, column 3: The element type "b:if" must be terminated by the matching end-tag "".
Most likely, you didn't add the closing tag in the right place.
Make sure that you add the closing tag right after and the conditional tag after.
I have the same issue.
I have double checked this to make sure I'm inserting in the correct place.
Still get the above error.
Nuno Hello I've tried the "hide in a specific page" method but it hides in all pages, and I did exactly how the example shows.
Can someone in lighten me how to solve the problem?
Please check your URL, it should end up with.
In your html code change save your url as dot in and it will be done.
However I tried to hide my Adsense widgets from my contact and privacy pages using your code To hide a widget only in a particular page and it didn't work.
You should hide the entire sidebar in those pages.
Please check this tutorial: It was initially written for the search results page but it works on other pages, as well.
Nuno yeah, works great, the problem was with the new domains from blogger, was easier when it just ended in.
Thank you so much for this trick!
I used to to add a widget on my homepage only, right above the posts and it worked.
I have one problem: on the other pages of my blog there is now a gap above the title of the page where the widget goes on the home page.
Is there any way to get rid of this gap?
I have a very long list of labels that I would like to either be hidden from the homepage OR display only on a static page I've made just for this purpose.
As I cannot place the widget directly onto the body of the page right?
I've settled for having the list display only where needed.
My trouble is, with this code, no matter what I try, exclude from specific page the home page or show only on a specific page the story pageit disapears from all pages.
The code i've used for the hide only from home is sniped of course blah blah rest of code My website is a.
Any assistance would be helpful.
Thanks for so clearly illustrating what to do for different pages, such as hiding on static pages versus displaying for only one particular page.
Hi how do you do this on the new html blogger format?
Would you mind taking a look?
I am sure its newly appeared.
Is it possible to do 2 things at once: 1.

A small portion of that background still shows on the pages where it the widget is hidden.
Is there a way to address this issue?
I've just removed the background in the past, but the background helps with the design.
Thank you for these great tutorials.
A portion of the backgrounds from hidden widgets are appearing on other pages.
Is there a way to fix that?
This is html code for blog archive helpful to me.
But, it it possible to hide the widget from multiple pages, not just one?
However, after i typed in the code that was provided by you also type in theURL of the particular page.
My widgets are still there.
Anonymous Dear Sir, I want to know how to permanent remove "Subscribe to: Post Atom:" from blogger.
How it remove from all pages including home, static, archive, and all pages of blog.
Please suggest and reply on my mail.
Would you kindly help me?
I'm trying to show an image gadget in one specific static page, I did exact as you told.
I does not work.
It doesnt show the gadget anywhere.
Hi : I used this before and it worked, however now it won't let me.
It comes up with this error: The widget with id "HTML5" cannot contain element: "b:if".
A widget can only contain b:includable elements.
Thank you : For some reason after I complete step 2 I can't find the "expand widget templates" box, is it me or have they just updated the software?
I have also been trying to enable the widgets that already exist after you create a post.
The very tiny ones but I can't seem to find any directions on how to change this anywhere.
At this point I haven't been able to connect any of my social media pages at all.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, www.
I've got a sidebar widget which i tweaked 2 years ago to show up only on homepage.
But now, i want it to show up on both the HOMEPAGE and also on SEARCH LABEL pages i.
Please how do i tweak this?
Once again, thanks so much!
Thanks, the widget-hiding worked!
However, on pages where the widget isn't shown, they have these tiny horizontal lines substituting the hidden widget.
I'm not bothered by it except for the fact that those lines then push all the other widgets down a notch, which makes it look weird.
It really helped and I must say that in the Universe of Learning, you're an awesome teacher : Amin please solve issue my template problem.
I want to show 6 post in my blogger home page.
I am doing 2 ways No1.
Only 6 post showing in my homepage.
I apply a lots of template in my blogspot.
But final reason isn't working.
It took some doing on my part but this helped a lot.
This site is a must have!
It doesn't work on my Follow on Blogger gadget though, everytime I edit the html and save it, then refresh it, the codes are not there.
I've tried it and its working fine.
But is there an easy way to remove all widgets on a particular page?
Hope to hear from you soon.
For more info, please refer to the 88.
Sorry for the late reply.
I have created an a store, so I don't want all of the widgets on that page.
Just the amazon widget.
How do I modify the code to please click for source the widgets just for that single page.
Hi Jessica, First off, you will need to identify the ID for each widget by searching for their exact names - Recent Posts, Recent Comments etc.
Then, write the IDs for each widget and separate them by a comma, eg: HTML1, HTML2, HTML13 {display: none;} And add the conditional tags before and after.
Please check this tutorial for more info: it should work for any widget you might have display: none; will be enough.
I hope this will help you!
Q: Is it possible to have two urls as the result of the conditional?
Right now all my widgets are on specific pages, but I would like another page that shows all of them at once.
Anonymous Hi the post is really helpful.
But, i have some background color to my gadgets.
The gadget box shows up as blank after hiding the gadgets.
I have tried changing the colors to transparent.
But, that doesn't seem to be helping.
Can you help me?
Do you have this trick?
Thank you, this is so helpful!
I'm using this to show certain ads on different pages.
Question: At the bottom of the home page there is the option of "older click to see more, newer post or home".
When you click older post, I thought that was an archived page, but I guess not, because the code for archive page is not working.
What kind of page is this, maybe a search page?

Go and start learning HTML now!
Our will turn you from wannabe to webmaster in just a few hours.
Unlike many other HTML tutorials, it's a step-by-step guide — not a boring long-winded reference.
Our step-by-step guide teaches you the basics of HTML and how to build your first website.
That means how to layout an HTML page, how to add text and images, how to add headings and text formatting, and how to use tables.
We'll get you building your new website in minutes, not hours.
HTML for Absolute Beginners While many guides on the internet attempt to teach HTML using a lot of mind-boggling theory, this tutorial will instead focus on giving you the practical skills to build your first site.
Okay, so this is the only bit of mandatory theory.
In order to begin to write HTML, it helps if you know what you are writing.
HTML is the language in which most websites are written.
HTML is used to create pages and make them functional.
The code used to make them visually appealing is known as CSS and we shall focus on this in a later tutorial.
For now, we will focus on teaching you how to build rather than design.
The History of HTML HTML was first created by Tim Berners-Lee, Robert Cailliau, and others starting in 1989.
It stands for Hyper Text Markup Language.
Hypertext means that the document contains links that allow the reader to jump to other places in the document or to another document altogether.
The latest version is known as.
A Markup Language is a way that computers speak to each other to control how text is processed and presented.
To do this HTML uses two things: tags and attributes.
What are Tags and Attributes?
Tags and attributes are the basis of HTML.
They work together but perform different functions — it is worth investing 2 minutes in differentiating the two.
What Are HTML Tags?
An example of a tag is:.
Most tags must be opened and closed in order to function.
What are HTML Attributes?
Attributes take the form of an opening tag and additional info is placed inside.
An example of an attribute is: In this instance, the image source src and the alt text alt are attributes of the tag.
For example: This is really important!
First off, we must ensure that we have the right tools.
Most important, we need an HTML editor.
There are many choices on the market.
Here are a handful of the most popular: Sublime Text 3 However, for this tutorial, we will use the as it is free and also offers cross-platform support for Windows, Mac, and Linux users.
Sublime Text 3 has a mini-preview window on the right.
Notepad ++ Another common choice for HTML and other language coders is.
It is a tiny program to download and perform the functions you need for writing clean code.
This is Notepad ++.
Far from glamorous but does the job.
Komodo Edit is one of two editors released by the same label.
They offer a simple, open-source editor with a variety of extensions and language support.
It is free to download.
Komodo isn't one for a flash interface either but is simple to html codes for blogs free />What To Avoid Your code's front-end view varies from browser to browser — you will learn more about this with advanced CSS.
Creating Your First HTML Webpage First off, you need to wicked winnings casino slot game your HTML editor, where you will find a clean white page on which to write your click here />From there you need to layout your page with the following tags.
Basic Construction of an HTML Page These tags should be placed underneath each other at the top of every HTML page that you create.
In this case, the language is HTML 5.
This is how your average HTML page is structured visually.
Further Tags Inside the tag, there is one tag that is always included:but there are others that are just as important: This is where we insert the page name as it will appear at the top of the browser window or tab.
This is where information about the document is stored: character encoding, name page contextdescription.
Let's try out a basic section: My First Webpage.
Adding Content Next, we will make tag.
The HTML is where we add the content which is designed for viewing by human eyes.
This includes text, images, tables, forms and everything else that we see on the internet each day.
Search engine bots use this order when deciphering which information is most important on a page.
On a new line in the HTML editor, type: Welcome to My Page And hit save.
How To Add Text In HTML Adding text to our HTML page is simple using an element opened with the tag which creates a new paragraph.
We place all of our regular text inside the element.
When we write text in HTML, we also have a number of other elements we can use to control the text or make it appear in a certain way.
Other Key Elements They are as follows: Element Meaning Purpose Bold Highlight important information Strong Similarly to bold, to highlight key text Italic To denote text Emphasised Text Usually used as image captions Marked Text Highlight the background of the text Small Text To shrink the text Striked Out Text To place a horizontal line across the text Underlined Text Used for links or text highlights Inserted Text Displayed with an underline to show an inserted text Subscript Text Typographical stylistic choice Superscript Text Another typographical presentation style These tags must be opened and closed around the text in question.
On a new line in the HTML editor, type the following HTML code: Welcome to my brand new website.

Hypertext means that the document contains links that allow the reader to jump to other places in the document or to another document altogether.
reels pay table latest version is known as.
First off, we must ensure that we have the right wicked winnings casino slot game />Most important, we need an HTML editor.
This is Notepad ++.
Far from glamorous but does the job.
Komodo Edit is one of two editors released by the same label.
They offer a simple, open-source editor with a variety of extensions and language support.
It is free to download.
Komodo isn't one for a flash interface either but is simple to use.
What To Avoid Your code's front-end view varies from browser to browser — you will learn more about this with advanced CSS.
Creating Your First HTML Webpage First off, you need to open your HTML editor, where you will find a clean white page on which to write your code.
From there you need to layout your page with the following tags.
